Motionless In White announces tour with Asking Alexandria

Motionless In White has announced U.S dates alongside Asking Alexandria this March/April.

The Still Reckless Tour, presented by MerchNow, will additionally feature support from Trivium, Dir En Grey, I See Stars, and The Amity Affliction. This U.S trek includes a performance at South By Southwest in Austin at the SXSW Artery Party, and will be a welcomed reunion between Asking Alexandria and Motionless In White.

“We’re really excited to be joining Asking Alexandria on tour again for a third time. It’s been a while and we’re really pumped to bring something a little different to the already amazing diversity of this tour’s line-up. It’s our first American tour of 2012 and a great way to kick off the new year.” – Chris Motionless, Lead Vocals.

Motionless In White is currently in the studio with legendary producer Tim Skold (Marilyn Manson), recording of their new album. Following this tour, the band will spend the remainder of the spring recording with producer Jason Suecof (Trivium, August Burns Red, All That Remains) in his Orlando, FL studio. Their second full-length, the album is slated for a fall 2012 release.

The follow-up to their acclaimed debut album Creatures, the album has already been tipped by Alternative Press as one of their Most Anticipated Albums of 2012. The band has also been highlighted as a band to watch this year in the recent issues of Metal Hammer and Rock Sound magazines.

Motionless In White recently released the controversial video for the single “Immaculate Misconception”, which received over 100,000 views in 24 hours, was named by AOL’s Noisecreep as one of the Top Ten Heavy Metal Videos of 2011, and FEARnet’s Most Shocking Music Video of 2011. The video features Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider and NY Ink tattoo artist Megan Massacre, and was directed by Dee’s son Cody Blue Snider. Check it out here.
