RULES FOR 2011 SEASON:
This competition is an all ages event ! All preliminary round shows are held m-th- we do this to allow bands to play paid gigs on weekends!
1. Not many rules, rules suck and we hate them but we do need to follow a few guidelines to ensure fairness for every band.
2. A band can not compete if they took 1st place in the previous year tournament
3. A band can not compete if they are under contract with a major label. If your band is under a label please email me and I will review the label and let you know if you can compete.
4. No entrance fee, no pre-sale tickets, BUT- in order to qualify to move on, your band must bring a minimum of 15 people (paid) through the door each round you play. There are cost involved running the tournament, sound, lights web development, printing, prizes, cash payouts, flying finalist judges in town,…etc. that is why you must bring 15 people each round. If you bring 14 people your band must purchase 1 ticket at 5 dollars in order to move on. This is to ensure that all prizes are paid for and to ensure that its worth it for the venue to host event. We are far from getting rich off you. Running a large respectable tournament is expensive.
5. All ages event so please keep it clean, use your discretion-don’t piss off the mom who brought her kids to the show
6. Show up on time, be respectful to my staff, venue staff, and venue equipment. And of course…Don’t suck!
Remember…this is an original music tournament, cover tunes are only accepted during sound checks.
All Genres Welcome: We are looking for the most talented artists-music, style, look, stage presents, songwriting. We are not looking for a specific genre, gender, or age. Any band, and genre has a fair shot at the title. Rock, Pop, Electronic, Hip Hop, Country, Folk, Acoustic, Alternative, Dance..etc.
Crazy Awesomeness in store for the 2011 season !!! Filming pilot episodes for our 1st reality TV series that we plan to air in 2012! Bigger cash payouts, and a lot more gear-good gear/prizes worth joining a tournament for. Last season we gave away over $ 20,000 in cash and gear!

All Venues are star quality and have a stage that will allow you to rock people faces off!
