A Skylit Drive heading to studio to record 3rd album !!
Lodi, CA’s A Skylit Drive is set to head into the studio this September, to record their as-yet-untitled third album. The follow-up to their hit albumAdelphia, the band will be recording the full-length in Santa Ana, CA with Cameron Webb (30 Seconds To Mars, Motorhead, Flyleaf, Silverstein). The album is set for release in early 2011.
“So far, the main difference between working on the new album andAdelphia is that we’ve had so much more time and so much more fun writing this record,” notes guitarist Nick Miller. “The new jams are so much more rockin’ and we can’t wait for the new energy that we are going to bring to the new songs.”
“Working with Cameron Webb has us even more pumped,” he continues. “We recorded our cover song for Punk Goes Classic Rock (a version of Journey’s “Separate Ways”) with him and dug the vibe we got in his studio. We loved working with Cameron and are really happy to be recording the new album with him. Can’t wait to get the new songs to you all! We love you!”
