Fades Away- live show review

“You’ll Never Take Me Alive” is an album/show that flip’n rocks (literally) ! They start off with a dramatic and dark track intro that builds suspense and excitement all on its own. The track appeared to be news clips and a speech compiled together on top of a heart beat and music that gets louder and louder. “Blessthefall” announces US tour with “As I lie Dying”

Phoenix, AZ’s blessthefall will tour the U.S. with As I Lay Dying this May. Additional support comes from War Of Ages and Demon Hunter. The dates follow their headline slot on The Bangover Tour, which kicks off on March 24th.

“Tenth Avenue North” delivers compelling second album ‘THE LIGHT MEETS THE DARK’ on may 11th

Rarely has a new band delivered an album with more emotional punch than Tenth Avenue North’s 2008 debut Over and Underneath.  Musically inventive and lyrically compelling, the song collection helped earn the band its prestigious New Artist of the Year accolade at the 40th Annual GMA Dove Awards, one element that propelled the band to headliner status for the all of 2009.  As evidenced by immediate impact at radio and at iTunes this week, Tenth Avenue North’s follow up The Light Meets the Dark is proving to be one of the most highly anticipated albums of 2010. MY SILENT BRAVERY to release debut album March 23

Worcester-based My Silent Bravery (formerly Matt Shwachman Band) has hit its stride with a brand new (and technically debut) album, Are You Prepared?, due March 23.  The release comes on the heels of MSB’s (as the Matt Shwachman Band) recent, successful placements on the WB’s “One Tree Hill” and MTV’s “Real World Cancun” and “Real World D.C.”  These placements, along with a rigorous show schedule and airplay at over 200 college radio stations, have helped the band steadily and organically grow a dedicated fan base.  Musically, MSB draws comparisons from Maroon 5 and One Republic to John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Tom Petty and Five for Fighting.  With the release of Are You Prepared?, My Silent Bravery will add comparisons to Warner Brother’s powerhouse act Mute Math.
