SAOSIN RETURN TO THE U.S. FOR HEADLINE TOUR

ME IN MOTION TO JOIN SANCTUS REAL TOUR 2010

Centricity Music’s powerhouse band, Me In Motion, will join Sanctus Real on its 2010 Tour that launches March 3rd and ends May 7th. The tour also features Above the Golden State and Addison Road. This marks the third major tour for the newcomer band in the last twelve months, as they were featured on the Newsboys fall tour in 2009 and the RED/Pillar tour in January and February 2010.

V V BROWN KICKS OFF FIRST EVER NORTH AMERICAN TOUR IN SUPPORT OF HER DEBUT RELEASE ‘TRAVELLING LIKE THE LIGHT’ SUPPORTING LITTLE DRAGON
Posted in NewsOne of 2010’s best new artists V V Brown will be heading out on the road this spring in support of her debut album ‘Travelling Like The Light’. Her first single, “Shark In The Water,” was recently featured as iTunes Single of the Week and came in #2 most added at Hot AC radio that same week. The New York Post describes it as “so crazy catchy that it’d make Kelly Clarkson green with envy.” The album is currently available exclusively on iTunes, where it debuted in the top 15 on their pop album chart.
Recently, V Vs songs have made dozens of impressive appearances on television (Cougar Town, The Vampire Diaries, CSI: NY, 90210, and ABC’s Desperate Housewives), with print and online media catching on quickly. Perez Hilton writes, “We LOVE love LOVE her first U.S. single, “Shark in the Water” and USA Today notes she “knows how to juggle elegance with attitude”. V V was most recently named the new face of Marks and Spencer alongside Twiggy, Dannii Minogue, Ana Beatriz Barros and Lisa Snowdon.
The 25 year-old singer has already been tantalizing American ears for months, “her vocal shines through every track” (Elle). She’ll now get her chance to showcase those insanely singable, danceable and memorable songs with her live show. “It’s about letting out all these ideas I’ve had locked up in my mind,” V V states.

THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS ANNOUNCE U.S. DATES

multi-platinum rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars has announced U.S. dates of their Into The Wild world tour starting April 9th at the Pearl Theater in Las Vegas, NV through May 13th at the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA (full schedule below). The Into The Wild tour is the band’s first tour in 3 years and is in support of their new album ‘This Is War.’ The tour kicked off last week in Nottingham, England where they played to sold out crowd of 10,000 screaming fans. Thirty Seconds to Mars will continue to play arenas throughout Europe including stops at London’s Wembley Arena and the Paris’ Bercy stadium. IAN ESKELIN NOMINATED FOR 4th TIME IN A ROW

The well-known and highly respected work of Ian Eskelin has been recognized by the Gospel Music Association. Also a songwriter and the name and mind behind the popular rock band, All Star United, Eskelin has been nominated yet again as Producer of the Year for this year’s 41st Annual GMA Dove Awards. The awards will be given out on Wednesday, April 21st, 2010 at Nashville’s famed Grand Ole Opry House and televised nationwide on gmc (www.gmclife.com) Sunday, April 25th.

GRAMMY Award nominated pop-rock group Superchick is offering a free download of its song “Courage” (from the Beauty From Pain album) Feb. 21-27 in support of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week.
The song was originally inspired by Superchick guitarist/vocalist Melissa Brock’s personal struggle with an eating disorder. Melissa explains, “I know full-well the pressures that society and even friends sometimes place on us to be thin and beautiful. It started for me when I was 15. I know what it’s like to not feel pretty, to feel fat, to feel like no one would ever want to be with you or even be friends with you because you feel so bad about yourself.
